Mastering The Interview

Tackle
Tense - nervous
Crucial - important, important role in people's life
Fierce - intense
Competition is fierce - 競爭激烈
Fierce animal - danger animal
Nailing the interview - hit it on the target, to success
Separating yourself from the pack - make yourself different, make yourself stand out
Resume: 1. short and concise, 2. layout, 3. pages (max. 2 pages)
Winging it - on-the-fly, not fully prepared for something
Regret - if you could go back in time you'll do it differently
Fall short - set a goal but didn't achieve it
Articulate - 1. say it out loud, practicing it 2. say it clearly, to connect with others
Practice makes it perfect
Empty phrase - meaningless phrase, flowery , fluffy phrase
Buzzword - very routine and cliched phrase, lingo phrase, jargon phrase
Regurgitating - someone else's phrase is in your mind, to choose something digest it and spit it out
Sarcastic - ironic
Inside and out - very familiar with something
A few minutes early is fine, more than that is awkward and a little rude
Sets someone off - making someone angry
Anxious - nervous, tense, uneasy
